Eternity lies in the written world. Your minds will surely die one day. Your neurons and organs for expressing ideas will stop working and will rapidly decompose. If until we die there is no technology that allow us to back them up, everything in our minds will be gone forever.
There could be an afterlife as proposed by many religions, but we cannot be 100% sure that there will be such a life since no one ever returned from their death. Even if so, how can we be sure that the individual entity raised would be the same personality as us?
When you are dead there could probably be only oblivion, your consciousness and memories will be gone. You, perhaps, cannot even regret that you have not shared important testimonies or experience to other people or those of future generations. You only exist in other people’s memories.
In short, you need to write what you need to share to make yourself immortal. Start from now before you regret! You will be forgotten one day if you do not leave any notes for other people to remember you.
As a social climber, I believe I have a rich life to tell. I was born into simple parents and was lucky enough to find the path to break my limits and achieve an extraordinary life, despite I had to go through lots of pains. I want to share my experience to whoever interested to know, that is why I created this blog.
I take the liberty to write either in English or in Bahasa Indonesia, depending on my mood and consideration of which way is more effective for particular purposes.
